I've tried to see if there was a way to route all of my incoming email
from Hotmail into OE5. When I went into OPTIONS, the only option I was
given was how to open a NEW hotmail account. Is there any way to have
mail from an EXISTING hotmail account sent to OE5?

I'd appreciate the steps, if there are any.

Thanks in advance,
Tania

Sure. When you're creating a new account - when it asks you for your e-mail
address, enter your current hotmail email address. It will automatically
recognize that you're a hotmail user and ask you for the rest of the
details.

You don't want a new account, you want to add your existing account to OE.

Tools/Accounts/Add, and follow the prompts.

That was the answer I was given when I asked the question before. It
doesn't work with me. I can't get OE recognize my account as a hotmail one.
It always asks for the same things it would for any account. My version is
5.00.2919.6600

Is there a later version and if so, where can I find it? Window's Update
doesn't offer it to me and I can't find anything anywhere else on the
Microsoft website...

Some ISPs customize the version of OE that they make available, and disable
the Hotmail option. You'll find details on re-enabling Hotmail in your
version of OE5 at http://httpmail.webhostme.com
