After re-formatting my computer the other day, and having first saved my
self created local folders, newsgroups etc (I did this by going to the
identities folder and saving these onto a disc) I can not reinstate them. I
have tried importing them but to no avail.

Please can someone tell me how to reinstate these folders. They just appear
as .dbx whn I drag them into the new identities folder and are not
recognised.

1. OE can only import from another location on the hard drive.
2. Once copying them to their own folder on the hard drive make sure that
they are not marked Read Only.
