Outlook Express 5 & Hotmail

I noticed that Outlook Express now has the ability to check my Hotmail
account, this is GREAT. Id there any way to get this set up through
Outlook97/98/2000 ?

If not does anyone know if they (MS) are planning this feature?

1) not at this time. Only OE supports the new http mail protocol

2) yes, rumor is they are working on an addin.
