I can't find it in Newsgroups, just on your web page. I updated my NG list,
and tried "microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general" and various
combinations. What is the exact name of the NG, or when will it be running?

Try this link:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If that link doesn't work, set up a news account in Outlook Express for
msnews.microsoft.com
The server is free and does not require you to logon. It carries over 2000
newsgroups related to microsoft programs including
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

I am glad you haven't removed the newsgroup from the servers yet. There is
one problem with removing it. This is a MSDN managed newsgroup and, as such,
in this newsgroup MSDN subscribers are promised a response to technical
issues from Microsoft if no other answer is received.

The IE 6 and IE 7 newsgroups are not listed in the MSDN managed newsgroups
list and have no such promise. If this newsgroup is removed, there is no IE
6 or IE 7 group in the MSDN managed newsgroups and that will result in a
broken promise from Microsoft.

Please reconsider or add the IE6/IE7 groups to the MSDN newsgroups before
removing this group from the server.

Thanks,

Dale
