Typing Delay in Text Box Remains

Frank (and others),

Thanks for the info. I tried all 3 alternatives suggested by Microsoft but
none of them worked. My delay just happens on the first attempt to enter
text into a form on a page. The rest of the text boxes thereafter on that
page work fine. When I change to a new page, either forward or back, the
phenomemon happens again. The backspace key, however, seems to work
immediately.

I also just discovered that when I try to create a new newsgroup posting,
Outlook Express delays about 10 seconds before displaying the first
character,
the same as in Internet Explorer.

Lorin,

You may have a missing or damaged imagehlp.dll file. Replace it using system file checker.
