I keep going to a site that tells me that to view I have to enable javascript.
but if I go to tool,internet options,security,internet,custom level,active
scripting it is checked enable.
what can I do?

Are you running a Norton or McAfee application?

Norton AntiVirus? Try disabling NAV's Script Blocker:

already turned off script block in norton ,that doesn't help either

See if disabling (turning off entirely) "Norton" helps.

I've already tried to turn off norton it doesn't help the web site is

Permissions > High Safety (recommended)

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Java > Java (Sun) (checked?)

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Microsoft VM > JIT compiler...
(checked, if available)?

I'm sorry, I didn't realize I was in the wrong place, I do have IE6,and I
