EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in module MSHTML.DLL

I recently had trouble booting up to Windows98. I was getting the message
"Invalid System Disk." I have fixed that problem with help from a very
nice and helpful individual. I am able to boot to Windows98 and see all
the icons. However, a box comes on. This box is for Explorer and says
"This program has performed an illegal operation and will shut down. If
the problem persists contact the program vendor." When I click on "Close"
button or "X" to close the box it recycles back to the same box. After
thatthe screen freezes and I am unable to use any applications. I cannot
even use the "Start" button to shut down the computer properly. This did
not happen before computer went down.

When I clicked on the "Details>>" button. I get the following information:

I then used the physical button on the box to turn computer off and on. At
that point computer automatically scanned the disk due to improper shut
down. No errors were found. Same thing mentioned in paragraph two above
happened again. When I used the Windows98 boot disk to look at the files
on C: drive, all the files seem to be there.

Go to start/run and try this command:

regsvr32 /i MSHTML.DLL
