Howto use GP for own applications?, e.g. hiding options dialog

Hello!

I'm new to GP and I want to enhance my self made c++ application to be
configured by GP. The first thing would be to enable the "options dialog" for
a group and disable it for another.

I don't really know where to start? The MSDN-library wasn't very helpfully
until now...

Do you have got a hint, link or starting point for me?
