Currently our group policy prevents the use of the "Sounds and Audio
Devices" control panel applet (mmsys.cpl).
We've discovered we now need to allow use of this, in order to control
volume etc. However, we don't want users to be able to add sounds to
program events (e.g. incoming mail, windows shutdown etc).
I can't find anything in group policy which allows us to enable the applet,
but prevent users from enabling sound events. Googling has proven
fruitless!
If anyone has any suggestions I'd be most grateful.
Thanks in advance.

Id suggest you still dont allow mmsys.cpl and allow SNDVOL32.EXE
