This is what I've done (using GP Management):
- Right link on OU > Create a GPO and link it here
- Edit
- Set logon script in User Configuration > Windows Settings > Scripts >
Logon
- In the remote computer I run a gpupdate /force
- Check with rsop.msc but the GPO is not applied.
If I add some setting in Computer Configuration, I can see the GPO in the
Computer section of rsop.msc, but not in the User section.

Since it's a "User Configuration" item that you configured, you'd need
to link that GPO to an OU with user accounts in it and logoff/logon the
user to get the expected script working.
