We have a terminalserver 2k3 and one of the users wants bigger fonts on the
Desktop and don't want to choose bigger font every morning manually . People
I have talked with says that I should export HCU with small font and then
with big fonts and compare them. Then should I put the changes in a reg
fil(bigfont.reg). Then I made a cmd file with content: regedit /s
bigfont.reg . Run this in a GPO for just that user, I have a policy for just
that user. I have tried a lot of ways without any sucess. Can anyone in
detail tell me how I should manage to get success? I have also tried with a
login script then the change comes too late. I have tried to make a theme but
don't now how activate that during the login process. I have to say that we
have roamingprofiles so the users get a new profile every login.

I'd go easier on this. Create yourself a custom desktop style file by
changing the font size manually and customizing stuff - then save it as
an .msstyle file on the "Themes"-tab in the Display window. Then deploy
the .msstyle file on the TS-Server and set a Group Policy for that one
user to use the msstyle file:

CompConf\AdmTempl\Control Panel\Display\Desktop Themes\ "Load a specific
visual style file or force Windows Classic"

cheers,

Florian

It's actually under "UserConf\"...

Thank You for the answer. But your answer isn't so easy for me as it looks. I
can't save as an .msstyle file. The only alterrnative is .theme file .
If I read paper on the Internet they says You have to use StyleBuilder but
that isn't easy to use. Do You have an easyer way to save it as msstyle?

an .msstyle file on the "Themes"-tab in the Display window.....
