I need to be able to create one single WEPOS re-sealed image to
support multiple hardware platforms. When using XPPRO I normally use
SYSPREP to achieve this.

I have added KB903936 and WEPOS SP3 but still cannot get SYSPREP to
work.

When I run SYSPREP on WEPOS I get the message "An error occurred while
trying to update your registry".

Can anyone suggest how to fix this problem or maybe an alternative
method to support multiple hardware platforms.

Thanks

I had the same problem before SP3 - we used FBresel only to package the
machine up.

However I can not get SP3 to install...

POSman,

This error message can occur while Sysprep.exe is parsing the
[SysprepMassStorage] section of the Sysprep.inf answer file. If you are using
a Sysprep.inf with a [SysprepMassStorage] section, try commenting the items
in this section to determine if this is the cause.

The actual error is specific to sysprep. Querying the web for using the
following keywords will help you locate troubleshooting information:

sysprep "An error occurred while trying to update your registry"
