Installation of Scan Device through PnP-X without WS-Scan(DPWS)

Hi,

I have a Scan Device, and want to implement PnP-X for Installation and DPWS
(WS-Discovery) for Discovery of Device and its services.
Due to time constraint i'm will not able to implement DPWS (WS-Scan) stack.

Is there way the Scanner Installation can pass through PnP alone without
WS-Scan?

Any help would be of great help.
