Hi everyone,

Please bear with as it's my first post.

I'm wanting to run a batch file through GPO on computer startup that will
copy a folder from a share on another server to the "all users" desktop on
the client machine (Windows XP at present). This would have to be on a
computer startup level becasue not all users have the rights to copy or
modify the "all users" profile.

I've created a new OU for the testing and added in only one computer into
this OU. I then went into GPO and navigated to the OU listed there. I then
created a new GPO for this OU and added the patch to the batch file under the
computer startup script area. Unfortunately it didn't work (even after a
gpupdate).

I then added it to the global computer GPO installed by default on an SBS
2008 server (CDE), and this didn't work for me either.

Any suggestions? We are wanting to replace NAL (Novell Delivered
Applications) icon launch with a folder on each computer desktop.

Thanks...
