When we make the Beta 1 available to those under the various programs to
test it - we will provide guidance on specifications etc to those users.
These specs will be subject to change and final recommendation will only
arise when we reach the end of development and are close to releasing the
product.

For a computer to receive a Vista logo, it will need to have a Dx9 level
graphics part (or better) and a LDDM driver for that part.

I would however, like to see Windows Vista take far less RAM and Processor
and VRAM resources. It's extremely wasteful to productivity of fun and
business.

Don't miss out on getting Vista it's the cream of the crop! I think you do
need a graphic accelerator, not only that, you might want to get a 512-1GB
RAM, 100GB hard disk drive, 75hertz LCD monitor and that's basically it but
they're the basic system's requirements you need to get Vista running on your
PC. You said it looks so pretty, well that's the reason why you need a faster
graphics accelerator ... so your PC won't get bogged down when opening
folders and programs. But it's worth the pain, you'll have a more efficient,
faster-running and more responsive operating system. So I recommend you get
these things right away.
Cheers,
