2. Grouped Application profiles:
Multiple applications and documents you can open together by opening a named
profile. For example, opening a profile named 'xyz' results in: MS word
launches and opens xyz.doc, Outlook launches and opens the draft letter to
xyz, Adobe Photoshop launches and opens the xyz.psd file for editing'.
Invariably, you have multiple documents and programs running, but you need to
stop what you are doing and turn off the pc. Rather than having to close all
these programs and documents, turn off the pc, then open them up all over and
get the documents open again, how about the option to be able to save this
layout as a named profile so that when you start your pc next, rather than
having to reopen all those programs and documents again, you can launch the
profile and all those programs will open again, open the documents you were
working on and re-establish where you left off?
3. ‘Open with’ links added to hover information in Windows Explorer
If you hover your mouse over a file in Explorer, the box prompts you with
file property information. How about also listing the 'open with' options as
well rather than having to right click and scroll through the menu as a
separate step? Further, if you hover and hold the alt key (for example) the
hover help becomes a launch box and you can click to open with that
particular program?

It would help families and business' alike if multiple usewrs with
differrent vison levels can set up their screen for what is comfortable to
them.
2) Again from Mac OS X - a location manager, which allows you to move
system level folders to other locations. i.e. Programs folder onto a
sepaarate drive. This then manages future programme installations and ensured
their files go to the right place.
3) The ability for removable media to mount and be visible directly on the
desktop, as in the Mac OS. This would help those with many removable devices
know instantly which was their specific device, as opposed to trawling in my
computer for letter designations.
The drive icon could then be renamed, and ejected via dragging to the
recycle bin or a right click command, or icon. It's a lot easier on a visual
level.
