We are using BITS to download latest program update packages from our server.
On our test server everything works fine but when we use our production
server, our application get Content-Length error (server did not respond file
size) every time when Windows 7 is used.

We also get same error with all operating systems (XP, Vista) if we add more
than one file to one downlod job and we resume (start) that job.

We encounter the same problem if we use Bitsadmin. Any ides what setting
(apache setting on server, firewall or something else) might cause behavior
like this?

Problem solved. Somehow our old web server removed content-length from
http-header. We updated to latest Ubuntu (with newer PHP and Apache) and now
BITS works perfectly.
