1394API.DLL Lost?????

So I've got a problem where I lost my 1394api.dll which is used by
win1394.exe.
win1394.exe.
First off what is this???
and do I need it??
I'm assuming yes since Norton keeps giving me a Windows error, so where
would I find this file???
Could this be the issue which is causing my mysterious lock ups "ALL the
Time now!!!"

I believe this is a SCSI driver. Go to \windows\inf and you will find the
1394.inf file which you can use to re-install it.
