windows 98 help files

I am very new to computers. I can't find the help files that are suppose
to be on the start up.Every time I try the help,it tells me I need to
reinstall them well I don't know how to do this or where to find.It state
that the help.chm cannot be found.My system Intel MMX,63MB ram-
32BIT,running windows 98 on AOL.Also I would like to know where the
diagnostics wizard that can fix problems on your system is also.Thanks

I am not sure from your question what it is that you are looking for. If you press the F1 key in Windows, you'll go into the on-line help system.
There is no one help file that does everything. There are many such help files, all linked together.
What is it that you are trying to find help about? You might want to post that on this newsgroup, and we'll see if we can help out any from there.
