I keep getting this message straight after I shut down my pc on a blue
screen background

"Windows protection error.
You need to restart your computer.
System Halt."

its really annoying and I'd like to know what the real problem is and how I
can prevent it.
thanks for any help
I've got a windows ME, 128MB RAM, 12.6gig (only 2.4gig has been use) and
1.2gig (I use this for personal documents and other stuffs like mp3, used
272MB), cd-rom, cd burner, PIII 550e, msi motherboard... .or is this a
conflict between my softwares?
I really don't know where the problem relies.
and sometimes when I turn the pc on, it doesn't turn on. I have to press it
at least three times to get it going.
once again any help will be appreciated

No, the more groups to which you cross post, the LESS likely you will get an
answer and the more certain you will be to get complaints.

This has nada to do with the Spanish groups to which you posted. In fact it
has nada to do with ANY of the groups you chose. I have set followups to a
group specifically for WinMe problems, so look for answers there. But you
will have to provide more detail if you want an answer, starting with the
FULL text of the error message.
