can someone tell me how 2 program windows so that when i start it up i can
have a message of the day sign come on that will cycle through a list of
preprogramed messages and force me to click a close button to continue

Use a search engine to find a few "personal reminder" programs, and
check some of them out. they will load when you boot up and present
the reminders.
