Hi, sorry to go off topic, but my sister graduates on Tuesday and I
really need to find her a cool gift that she will remember forever

Anyone who knows a really unique gift that doesn't cost a fortune?

Hello Inga Svensson

since you are asking in the newsgroup about Windows98 plug-and-play
I assume you want give something that your sister can use with
her computer that have win98 installed in it?

when it comes to plug-n-play I guess most hardware that you
would connect with usb is pnp... yeah to you use usb-memories, mp3-players
and digital cameras you need win98's "Native USB (NUSB) Drivers"
of course. use links at http://www.mdgx.com/spx/

perhaps not verry unique gifts though, but verry useful
if she doesn't allready have :-D

(with the 4GB usb-memory ~170kr you can break the plastic shell and make
a new personal one that will be 100% unique. wood, clay, textile, etc
be creative!)

for a cool(ing) gift you can allways buy a small usb-fan hehe

the worlds best gift would perhaps be an polynesian island
but that would unfortunately cost a fortune, and I'm not sure how you
would combine that with Windows98 plug'n'play... ;-)
(and be aware that the sea level will rise due to climate change)

PS. hope you are aware that allmost no-one reads this newsgroup
"microsoft.public.win98.pnp" and all discussions about Windows 98
today is in microsoft.public.win98.gen_discussion instead.
you shouldn't post offtopic there either of course :)
