~ I deleted all my Power Schemes under power management. Now everything is
~ greyed out and I can't add a new scheme. the system is going into standby at
~ 10-15 min I guess by default. How can I get the schemes working again. I
~ instilled Win98 again, didn't solve the problem
==========
I don't know for sure if this will work or not but.....
Find <powercfg.inf> and rt-click/Install this file. This should write the
default Power Schemes back into the registry. You'll need to restart Windows for
these settings to become available.
