I have too much tv to watch already, but friends of mine have never
seen a semi-historical movie I recommend, and now that there are so
few video stores, I thought I could download it, burn it to a DVD or
copy it to a flashdrive**, and then watch it at their house. (My
house is not open for visitors until I clean it up. )

**I have a DVD recorder that can read a flashdrive and maybe burn a
DVD from that. I realize I don't have a DVD burner on my computer.

But I think maybe I've read that such videos can't be copied to DVD or
can't be copied at all, can only be watched once or twice.

Am I mixing up two different things?

Can you recommend a website that would allow me to copy to the DVD,
even if I can only watch the DVD once? This is probably the only
movie I'll do, and I don't at all mind paying, but I hope there's no
big enrollment cost
