windows 98 client can't get IP through dhcp

I've just added a couple of older PCs to my network running windows
98.
They are unable to pick up an address from my windows server 2003
running dhcp.
Message states they are unable to find dhcp server on the network.
What do I need to do to the client, or the server to get dhcp to work?
