402 out of memory-Outlook Express 6

How can I fix this error code "402 out of memory" in Outlook Express
6?
It seems to appear when someone sends me a "return receipt"..after I
get this error, I hit the receive/send button again and it
goes..curious. It can't be RAM or hard drive..I have plenty. I also do
the "tools-options-maintenance" often, don't know what else to do.

Is there more to the error message? Does the message include your mail account name, mail
server and some additional information? If so, it could be the mail server that is reporting
the Out of Memory condition.
