When I start up my outlook express to check my email I get
the following message on my screen

Sorry, the page you're trying to reach is temporarily
unavailable or the page may no longer exist.
Please try one of the following:
Click your browser's Refresh button to try reconnecting.
Check the spelling of the URL to make sure the address is
correct (capitalization and punctuation are important) and
then click your browser's Refresh button.
Click your browser's Back button to return to the previous
page.

Error type 404 - Object Not Found

I don't know what to do, I've tried deleting Outlook
express and then re-installing the download for OE 6. but
I get the same results. I can read my incoming email and
send out email, but I can't access my other folders. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Check in the registry to see if you have an entry under this key (which may
be an outdated link). If so, just delete the entire FrontPagePath key.

Registry Settings
User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\[Identity]\Software\Microsoft\
Outlook Express\5.0]
Value Name: FrontPagePath
Data Type: REG_SZ (String Value)
Value Data: URL or Filename

Versions):

You can also use the Registry Editor's Find function to search for instances
of BHO (Browser Helper Objects) and delete all you find.

I have WIndows 98 2d and want to use Outlook Express.
However, I can not find it on the CD or online. Does
anyone know where I can download it?

Thanks

Try Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. Click on Microsoft Internet
Explorer and click Remove to bring up the Maintenance Module. A choice
should be there to "add a component" and you can select Outlook Express. I
would then follow up with a visit to the Windows Update page to get security
updates appropriate for your system.
