I'm using win98. I have 2 hard drives on the Gateway
Computer I'm using. Running out of space. The add/remove
application only seems to access programs on my c: drive
(my main drive). How do I use add/remove and access the d:
drive? The d: drive was actually my original drive...with
the c: installed latter. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

All ou can do is remove the software listed there. You can't use add/remove
to remove something that isn't put there.

Thank you for the response. What is the best way
to "easily" and without damage delete items from the
previously mentioned d: drive?

thanks again.

What is it you are trying to delete?

You must use the uninstall routines provided with the app you are trying to delete. If a program is not listed in add/remove, it is either a 16 bit program or one not designed for win 9x. For programs without an uninstall routine, try looking for a website for the distributor of the program and request proper uninstall instructions. It is never a good idea to just remove folders as registry entries will remain and could cause probs...
