Hi all
I am trying to figure out how to make my modem disconnect.
I have an internal modem.
I run Hyper terminal, set the following commands:
AT&F
ATS0=1

and call it from another phone.
When I hear the handshake sounds- I hang up (the other phone)
It takes the modem 1 minute to hangup!!!
Please tell me what to do in order to make the modem hangup after few
seconds......

I tried AT&C1&D2 already.......

TIA
Guy

if memory serves, there is an S register that sets the disconnect wait
time... the delay is there to deal with communication dropouts.

This may work for your modem or not, see S10 or S38 registers

put finger to keyboard and composed:

I don't know if it will work when answering a call, but try setting S7
(wait for carrier after dial) to a smaller number.
