DW.exe is included with IE6, or as a separate download for IE5.5. It is used for error reporting. See this article about what it is and how to disable the error reporting.

I had a problem with that file and a few more and they all came in with
spyware called Downloadware that was automatically downloaded from a web
site. My computer was grinding to a halt while that mess ran in the
background. I ran Adaware and everything was cleaned up.
