Dial-Up Networking problems

I reinstalled Win95 and IE5.0 after a major system crash, and updated from
there on MS's site. But now I have two problems I can't track down:

1) The Dial-up Connection dialog always has the Save Password and Connect
Automatically checkboxes greyed out... Needless to say, I have to enter my
password each and every time.

2) After username and password are verified, an Enter Network Password
dialog pops up asking me to "Enter your network password for Microsoft
Networking." I can just cancel this box, but it's annoying to have to do
that to complete the logon process.

Can anyone please email me fix for these anomolies? Thanks.

An unavailable (grayed out) Save Password checkbox is usually due to not
having the Client fore Microsoft Networks installed:
