Not true. There are those of us who just don't like HTML/MIME formats
for email & news, and don't use Web browsers for news groups or email.
I prefer Forte's "Agent" which is a pure X-Reader that handles both
email & news groups. Email and Usenet are the same except for the
headers and the "grandfather" standard comes from Unix. X-Readers are
faster and more efficient (less of a footprint in system resources).
