Help! - Access Denied

Without any known action by me, other than establishing File Manager Icon
on my desktop, I am unable to create new directories with File Manager or
new folders with Windows Explorer. Does anyone know how I can recover this
capability? It is a stand alone Toshiba Satellite Pro 405CS, only
connected to the internet via dial-up isp.

Make sure the File Manager you refer to recognizes long file names
or it could cause some real problems.

If you are getting access denied messages try right clicking on
those directories with Windows Explorer, get properties and remove
the attributes.
