Are the Microsoft Windows 95 CDs (both the first and the osr2) bootable?

They are not bootable, computers back then could not boot from a cd-rom
device so it was never considered. NT4 was the first bootable Windows cd
I believe.

I do not think there is a bootable Win95 CD version. There may be one of
Win98. If you use a bootdisk with the CDROM-driver for your CDROM-drive,
you can install the OS quite easily.
