At start up my 95 box is missing the DMIAP132.dll. Any
idea where I can get it and what is it used for?

The 1 you typed is almost certainly an I: DMIAPI32.DLL.

Still, this is not part of any MS product. It may be part of some third
party program.

When do you get this? Does a message pop up (for example) saying that a file
required by a program launched in SYSTEM.INI or the Registry requires this
file? If so, use process of elimination on your startup launch items to
determine what is calling this. The following page gives a complete list of
the dozen or so places whence programs can be launched at startup:

This file ships with the OSR2 version of Win95. You can extract it from
Win95_05.cab.

Good catch, Patty. I couldn't find it on the DLL Help Database -- with
either spelling.
