Remove it with Regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\mycomputer\NameSpace\{BDEADF00-C265-11d0-BCED-00A0C90AB50F}
(that is one line but may wrap)
Backing up keys by exporting them before you delete is a good idea in
case you change your mind.

It is usually a poor uninstall program that leaves it behind and must
be removed with Regedit.
Niuts & Bolts seem to make a habit of this in the past and leave Helix
File Shredder and Helix Stronghold behind, sometimes in My Computer
and sometimes on the Desktop. I gather the icon itself may be removed,
leaving the "empty folder"
The CLSID you find in the Registry may be a clue as to what it is.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\mycomputer\NameSpace]
@=""
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\mycomputer\NameSpace\{992CFFA0-F557-101A-88EC-00DD010CCC48}]
@="Dial-Up Networking"
----------
The default in Regedit should look like this:
Name Data
(default) ""
Yours as you describe it seems dubious. I have never heard of an
overriding key in HKEY_CURRENT_USER but you can check that.
You may care to export your key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer
to a .txt file and send it to me if you want a second opinion
