dial up networking on two pc's

Hi,

i want to know is it possible to network two pcs using two telephone
lines.

i have one pc with telephone no 0120 2326000 (pc A ) and the other pc
with telephone no 05735 225000 (pc B). i 'v a software on B which
accesses some data on com port 1. this application is used to monitor
the status of a device. now i want to sit at A and dial up B and
operate the software on B. whatever data is collected by B want to see
it at A.

all in all i want to sit at A and give the commands on B

is it possible ? what is the requirement of the system ??

It is possible
Starting win98, there is dial up sever in windows, so that is what you run
on B.
