Hi there!

...I'm having a problem I hope some kind soul here can help me with. I'm
trying to set up a network using an NT 4 server with Windows 95/98
workstations. The problem is that I'm trying to set up profiling for the
various class of user that will be accessing the network. We already
have one such system, to I checked out the setting and procedures there,
then checked the microsoft online techref for networking and policies
AND the Windows 95 resource kit manual. I then started trying to
configure - but have run into a serious problem. If I start up Policy
Editor and click on Add Group, followed by browse (to fetch the user
groups info from the server) I get the following error message:

An error has occurred trying to access the Address Book Provider

...Does ANYONE here know what I've done wrong - and more importantly,
how I correct it?? Any info would be appreciated as I'm up against a
dealine here, folks...

Many Thanks,

Chas

Do you already have a PDC on your network? If so is this one setup as a BDC?
I need a little more info on how your setup. =)
