How do you map a network drive with MS-DOS 6.2?? Can this
even be done?? I am using a Novell network and am trying
to image a Windows 3.11 machine over the network but I
need the Windows 3.11 machine to get a drive mapped to put
the image out on the network. Please help; I'm at wits
end.

On the dosbox, install lan manager. The last version is lanman 2.2.

When installed with the appropriate protocols, check that the filesharing is
on on the 3.11, then "net use ?: \\foo\bar password", where ?: denotes the
drive on the dos box you want to use, foo-bar is the shared resource and
password is the pwd for the share.

Should work.

I hope the Gatesman notices that I am moving from
NT to Debian.
