Hi there,
The file wbemcore.log in C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\Logs
is contiuuous growing, every few seconds with the same entry:
GetUserDefaultLCID failed, restorting to system verion(Thu Jan 01 14:05:16
2009.2538484)

can anyone explaine, what is happening there and how to stop this?
I use WindowsXP Home, SP3 on a NetBook.

I am also getting this error on my newly imaged Dell Latitude D530 laptop
(Windows XP Pro) . This is annoying also because the screen keeps refreshing
and the hourglass comes and goes while this is happening.

Hi there,
I too am having the same log, growing continuously !
I'm on XP Pro SP2.
On wbemcore.log :
"(Fri Jan 30 22:39:05 2009.17198546) : GetUserDefaultLCID failed, restorting
to system verion"
And I'm having another log, growing the same
wmiprov.log :
"(Fri Jan 30 22:39:05 2009.17198578) : WDM call returned error: 4200
(Fri Jan 30 22:39:05 2009.17198578) : WDM specific return code: 4200
(Fri Jan 30 22:39:05 2009.17198578) : "
Could anyone told us what this is all about plz ? :/
