I am trying to develop a composit USB device for Windows CE 6. The device
implements a KBD HID, a Mass Storage device and a Generic HID device. The KBD
and Mass Storage devices pretty much take care of themselves but I'm
obviously going to need some kind of driver for my custom HID.

The question, Is there a way to implement the driver for the custom HID that
has little or no impact on the CE instance. In other words, no registry
changes or resident dlls other than the standard HID components.

I am not following you. What custom HID? Are you saying that it isn't a
standard keyboard, mouse or joystick?

And you expect to develop a driver, which is a DLL, but not put the DLL on
the device?
