unable to start program csidl_program_files

Hi
I am working on win mobile 6.0.
When I try to run the executable(MFC) on emulator(win mob 6 ARM920T)
it is working fine however when i try to execute the same on my
embedded device(QCT MSM 7201A i.e Integrated ARM11 applications
processor )
using active sync on vs2005, I get the popup message
"unable to start program '%CSIDL_PROGRAM_FILES%\Project_name
\project_name.exe'".
Can anyone help to explain what's wrong?
also my project settings are subsystem windowsce 5.02 and machine type

additionally when i try to run the exe directly from device it says
project_name is not a valid Pocketpc application
