Hi,
I've set up MS TAPI Server and TAPI Client on the other machine. I get
to the point, where I can enumerate all lines from the PBX being on
client station through "remote service provider". When I try to identify
caller ID using JulMar TAPI test tools (TCmon.exe, Phone.exe etc.) it
looks like the client station isn't notified of that event by the TAPI
server. When I use at the same time (TCmon.exe, Phone.exe etc.) tools on
the TAPI server machine all works ok.
The question is: Does the TAPI Server + "remote service provider" at the
client, provide notification of incoming calls? To what extend "remote
service provider" provides services of the native (from pbx vendor) TSPI
installed directly on the client station.

Thank you for any feedback.

Tomasz,
the MS TAPI client/server architecture is transparent for the CallerID etc.
It's strange that you get CallerID on the server but at the same time not at
the client.
What TSP (at the server) / PBX are yo using?

Can you reproduce the issue with MS TAPI Browser TB20 ?
Please post a TB20.log and enable Options/LogParameters and /ShowTimeStamps in
TB20.
See my TAPI and TSPI FAQ:

Q: Where can I download TAPI Browser ?

Q: Is there a user guide available for TAPI Browser TB20 ?
