I am writing an app in TAPI 2 in which I am dialing out. I am getting a
LINECALLSTATE_CONNECTED although the line is still ringing and not yet
answered. I was under the assumption that this state is given when the line
has been answered by the other party. Is there another state I should be
listening for? I am testing this application in a work environment where my
analog connection is an extension. Am I getting this state because of this?

If you are using PC modem (unimodem) you are out of luck.
Tapi sends LINECALLSTATE_CONNECTED blindly.
