Can anyone point me to a good example of putting NICs on NT into
promiscuos mode. My company develops software for doing statistical
profiling of network applications from packet traces.

We have probes that run on UNIX based platforms and I'm investigating
porting our analyzers over to NT. I've looked at the packet driver
example in the DDK/network samples, but have not been able to get the
included packet driver service to load (I get a message - cant start
service, access denied). Has anyone had any luck with this example or
knows of another source code example?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The NDIS FAQ at <http://www.pcausa.com/resources/ndisfaq.htm> has some
information on this topic.

Good luck,
