Unable to record sound on the wince 5.0 board.

Hi Folks,

I am trying to record voice from the mic in windows ce 5.0 using audio
APIs but I am unable to do so .I have conencted my headset to the
wavein/ waveout of the board .The board has audio drivers as I can
play .wav files .

The parameter

((PWAVEHDR)dwParam1)->dwBytesRecorded is zero when I get the WIM_DATA
message in my callback WaveInProc.

I even tried using an event mechanism instead of callback funciton but
in vain

I even tried sample record application given in wnce500.

Could some please shed some light on this as I am able to create
a .wav file after recording but its empty.

are you doing this as a home project ?

Did you manage to solve your problem. I know this post is more than a year old but i am facing the same issue. Kindly reply if you have solved the problem.
