Hello,

we have a COM dll using Extended MAPI developed in C++ with VS 6.

Now we consider to migrate to VS 2005, as this is the environment we
develop our other modules in.

Do you see any risks with that concerning the behaviour and stability
of the code?

Thanks in advance,

André

I've migrated MAPI code from VS 6 to VS 2005, and I'm not aware of any
issues.

P.S. Since we've had VS 2008 for a while and are closing in on VS
2010, you may want to consider moving everything forward in one swoop
if you have the opportunity.

Thank you for your reply. We decided to migrate now to VS2005. VS2005
is a running system for us and I think we will keep it for a while as
standard.

VS2005 is the last version to generate an .exe that will run on Windows 9x/NT.
