Autodesk ReMake Pro 2017 is an application from Autodesk that is now known as ReCap Photo. ReCap Photo is the cloud-connected application with advanced features for generating geo-located textured meshes, orthographic photos and point clouds. This application has been equipped with some very powerful tools for the mesh viewing as well as editing. You can also download Autodesk ReCap Pro 2019.
Autodesk ReMake Pro 2017 this photogrammetry engine can process more than 1000 photos which is a clear improvement as previously it was able to process maximum 250 photos. It has also got a the ability to set GPC in coordinate system. It has also got a new functionality to support vertical and nadir photos. You can also view your 3D photo-textured mesh and you can also view the geolocated orthographic view, zoom in/out and can also add measurements, tags and annotations. All in all Autodesk ReMake Pro 2017 is a very handy application with advanced features for generating geo-located textured meshes, point clouds and orthographic photos. Can I still use my free ReMake and for how long?
Yes, you can continue to use ReMake for a short time. Starting December 1, 2017, the only way to access the photo-to-3D cloud service will be through ReCap Photo, available through a subscription to ReCap Pro .
I am having issues downloading ReMake from manage.autodesk.com. I have successfully downloaded the installer, but when running "Autodesk Install Now" it fails partway through saying "Something is preventing the software from launching. Please contact customer support." (See screenshot) Has ReMake already been dropped or am I doing something wrong?
