1 LAN. 1 Domain. 2 subnets. No Network Browsing

Hello,

my companies present ip range is full and I have been issued another: one is
a B class the other a C class. Both subnets have gateways in the routing
table to our Parent company. I understand to make these interact on the W2k3
domain (no layer 3 routers) the subnet mask must be the same. They can
communicate across the 2 ranges by pinging IP and mapping drives but I need
it to be made a coherent structure for clients and the Network Browsing
facility seems intermittant.

I have a PDC with primary DNS; I have a BDC with secondary DNS, neither is
multihomed. Browsing Network Places is not stable however. Do I need to
integrate a WINS server into the domain or am I missing something? or is it
just not possible?
Any insight would be appreciated.
