set wallpaper for terminal server clients

Anybody have have any (simple) suggestions for setting
the wallpaper of terminal server clients. I want all
client users to have the same bmp as their wallpaper. Any
help will be extremely appreciated.

Open up the Terminal Services Configuration and click on
the Environment tab. Put a checkmark in the Disable
Wallpaper checkbox. This will give all users the generic
background of the Windows Standard coloring scheme.

How would you set a default wallpaper for all TS sessions
that is a bmp file we have created. Our reasoning for
this is many of our clients run W2KPro and the backgrounds
are the same & users seem to be confused.

You can run gpedit.msc on the TS server, and go into User Configuration | Admin
Templates| Desktop settings to configure the wallpaper.

A couple of notes on related tools and techniques...

(1) BGINFO
You may want to check out this tool (free from http://www.sysinternals.com). It
automates some things for generating desktop wallpaper.

(2) You can also modify the wallpaper via an ActiveX control called from a WSH
script. If you are basically familiar with the techniques for WSH scripting,
you can find both Active Desktop and regular bitmap controls from a site I keep:

Both include the ActiveX control, VB source code, and a short demo script.
